Nonmonotonic velocity distribution in some rectangular MHD ducts

Abstract
An exact solution is given for a steady-state flow in a rectangular MHD duct with ideally conducting walls perpendicular to an external magnetic field and two other nonconducting walls, and the impossibility of the formation of reverse flow zones is shown.
