Abstract
A viscous stratified axisymmetric flow of conducting fluid with high MHD interaction parameters in annular channels with curved walls is examined. The viscosity, density, and conductivity of the fluid are assumed to be piecewise-constant functions of the transverse coordinate at the entrance to the channel. Analytic solutions are obtained for the problem of a three-layered flow in annular channels, including injection through porous walls, when the prescribed external axisymmetric field satisfies the Maxwell equations. The effect of the relative values of the density, conductivity, and viscosity on the flow structure in the wall regions and in the stream core with high MHD interaction parameters is investigated.
