Effect of viscosity of melted multiphase slag on the process of MHD separation

Abstract
The results of an experimental investigation of the viscosity of systems of salt slag-aluminum oxide at temperatures of 700-900^°C are presented. The effect of the volume concentration of metallic aluminum and aluminum oxide, and also of the size of the dispersed phase on the viscosity is investigated.
