Abstract
The MDN-6 magnetodynamic unit for the preparation and ladle-less casting of aluminum alloys was developed in the Institute for Problems of Casting of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR [1-3] and introduced at the "Krasnyi Metallist" plant in Konotopsk.
