Induced-current distribution in a finite-width band in the travelling magnetic field of a one-sided inductor

Abstract
An analytical solution for the induced current distribution in a finite width conducting volume in a travelling magnetic field of a plane, one-sided inductor has been obtained. A formula for the electromagnetic force has also been derived for the case, where the effect of the secondary magnetic field can be neglected.
