Test of the application of magnetizable fluids and suspensions in experimental medicine. 1. X-ray constrasting of cavity organs and vessels

Abstract
Results are presented of the development and experimental studies of magnetic particle suspensions applied to x-ray contrasting of the stomach and intestines and of intra-bone blood vessels. It is shown that the microcapsule technique allows to apply in vivo particles of Pb and Bi compaunds. For microvessel studies, particles of rare earth garnet ferrites and orthoferrites proved to be the most appropriate.
