Abstract
The method of boundary layer suction from the surface of body in stream allowing decrease the drag force and increase the lift force was offered by Prandtl already in 1904. It was prove quite effective from theoretical point of view, but difficulty to realize in practice. However, investigations are carried out in this direction. In present work the general approach to this problem has been offered for self-similar formulation of problem with suction law on surface of body in stream as power function of longitudinal coordinate. It is shown, that longitudinal external flow can not be arbitrary and depends from suction law. Formulation of problem leads to well known Fokner-Scan equation, but with another boundary conditions. Some analytical approximations have been received using Gertler series expansion. The boundary layer and external flow characteristics received from these approximations were used in further numerical integration of governing equation of problem. Two problems of magnetically controlled boundary layer flow have been formulated and solved in non-induction approach: uniform longitudinal external stream flow in longitudinal magnetic field and uniform suction from body surface in transversal magnetic field.
