The characteristics of induction MHD pump and methods of operatig in mode of pulsing feed

Abstract
The circuit of thyristor wideling-pulsing control is developed. The block of feed-operating on indicated principle is created. Successful experiments on feed MHD-pump by system of periodic pulses (packages of a sine wave voltage) are conducted. Mathematical model of processes in MHD-machines is developed at pulsing feed, satis-factorily describing results of measurements. The method of pulsing thyristor control is offered to application for simplified, in comparison with existing, method of a control by special electrical machines. The circuit permits easily to use compensating condensers. Figs 3, Refs 5.
