Fully developed MHD flow in the European TAURO concept for a nuclear fusion blanket

Abstract
An annlysis of the MHD flow in the European TAURO blanket concept using ceramic wall material shows that even for poorly conducting walls an electric coupling of neighboring channels is possible. The pressure drop is not a crucial issue but the flow patterns may become unfavorable for heat transfer because the designed flow direction can be reversed. Figs 6, Refs 16.
