A simple dynamo model for geomagnetic reversals

Abstract
We suggest a simple dynamical system, which mimics a nonlinear dynamo, which is able to provide the temporal evolution of the geomagnetic field including its polarity reversals. A qualitative explanation for the physical nature of this phenomenon is presented and discussed. Figs 7, Refs 18.
