Abstract
A possibility to use MHD facilities with permanent magnets in real metallurgical technologies, mainly for aluminium alloys’ melts with the operating temperatures ≤ 700°C is assessed. Results of theoretical and experimental investigations on aluminium pumping and/or stirring obtained with a developed MHD model are presented. Tables 2, Figs 12, Refs 7.
