Equilibrium conditions and work of initiation of a small bubble in a homogeneous liquid in a magnetic field

Abstract
The equilibrium condition of a small bubble in a homogeneous liquid having magnetic susceptibility if a magnetic field is superposed on the system was investigated. It is shown that the magnetic field changes the heat of vaporization and the pressure in the fluid. The parameters increase if the fluid is paramagnetic and decrease in a diamagnetic liquid. It is shown that if a magnetic field exists, the work of formation of a bubble decreases or increases depending on the paramagnetism or diamagnetism of the system. For a binary system in which the components are diamagnetic and paramagnetic the conditions for vaporization of the diamagnetic component into a bubble will improve and for the paramagnetic component will become worse. This is important for processes related with the separation of mixtures.
