A nonsteady-state problem in magnetohydrodynamics with free convection

Abstract
This paper discusses the nonsteady-state free convective flow of a wealdy conducting, incompressible viscous liquid along a porous flat infinite vertical plate, whenan external homogeneous magnetic field is perpendicular to the plate. An exact solution is obtained at arbitrary values of the temperature of the plate and of the flow velocity. For partial values of the plate, expressions are obtained in terms of tabulated functions.
