Calculation on the body forces in an electrically conducting fluid between two finite ferromagnetic cylinders

Abstract
The electromagnetic processes in a domain bounded by two plane and two circular cylindrical surfaces are analyzed. The method of finite integral transforms and Galerkin's method are used to find the induction distribution in a conducting fluid between two ferromagnetic cylinders. From the induction distribution thus found an approximate expression is derived for the current density. The spatial force distribution was calculated on a Minsk-22M digital computer.
