The hydrodynamics of polarizing and magnetizing media

Abstract
We discuss the principal equations of the hydrodynamics of polarizing and magnetizing media, with an arbitrary law connecting the inductions and fields. Special attention is paid to the case of nonconducting magnetic materials in induced magnetic fields, ari sing as the result of the motioh of the magnetic materials in an external magnetic field. Under the assumption that the magnetization is proportional to the density and that it depends linearly on the temperature and the state of saturation, we consider the problem of lubrication by a magnetic material.
