Multipurpose use of MHD devices in the production of mercury

Abstract
This paper presents the results of research and development works on the creation and introduction of a set of devices for automatic production of high-grademercury based on principles of magnetohydrodynamics. The industrial process flow diagram and equipment for purifying mercury are described and some data on its operation under plant conditions are given.
