The structured-continuum approach in the magneto- and electrorheology of disperse system

Abstract
On the basis of invariant-theoretical considerations, and also by the use of the methods of the thermodynamics of irreversible processes, determining equations are obtained for a nonisothermal, charged, conducting, dielectrically and paramagnetically relaxing, isotropic fluid with a deformable microstructure and diffusion. A discussion is given of certain derived linear and nonlinear cross effects between thermal, mechanical, electric, magnetic, and diffusion phenomena.
