Deformation of hydrodynamic perturbations in a uniform magnetic field

Abstract
A numerical solution was found for two-dimensional flow in a circular or annular region the boundaries of which rotate at a constant velocity. It is shown that a magnetic field at first "switches on" inertial forces and then, as the magnetic field increases, the role of the inertial forces becomes small and the flow approximates Stokes flow. The flow investigated makes it possible to explain one of the trends in the deformation of perturbations by a magnetic field.
