Mixed gas flows in a transverse magnetic field

Abstract
Two-dimensional eddy-free steady-state flow is considered for an ideally conducting gas in a transverse magnetic field; the exact equations of motion are written in terms of velocity components, and also for the potential and current function. Perturbation theory is used to derive approximate equations of motion in the transcritical region
