Steady-state MHD flow in a duct with variable wall conductivity

Yu. I. Malov - L. K. Martinson - K. B. Pavlov - I. A. Fedotov

Abstract
A steady-state MHD flow in a rectangular duct in a transverse magnetic field is considered. The walls of the duct are perpendicular to the magnetic field and are of variable conductivity, while two other walls are nonconducting. A solution in the form of trigonometric series is obtained for the distributions of the fluid velocity and the induced magnetic field. The results of the numerical calculations are given.
