Shear MHD flows of a fluid with a power rheological law

Stationary and nonstationary shear flows of a conducting non-Newtonian fluid with a power rheological law in a transverse magnetic field are considered. For the particular case of dilatant fluids the solutions obtained are characterized by the existence of surfaces that separate regions with zero and regions with nonzero tangential shear stresses.
