Interaction between a magnetic field and a turbulent conducting fluid

A. S. Pleshanov - A. L. Tseskis

Abstract
Perturbation theory is used to show that for small values of the Lorentz force. turbulence is suppressed by the magnetic field if the work of the Lorentz force is positive. In the opposite case the intensity and the number of degrees of freedom of the turbulent motion increase.
