An obstacle-flow problem in magnetohydrodynamics

Abstract
The problem of flow past an arbitrary plane profile in a magnetic field perpendicular to the plane of flow is analyzed with reduction in the case of irrotational flow to a Fredholm integralequation of the second kind. A numerical solution is obtained for flow past a circular cylinder.
