Abstract
Results of experiments on desulfurization of liquid pig iron in reducing conditions using electromagnetic mixing are described. In the processing of the liquid pig iron by a mixture consisting of 50% lime and 50% graphite with its flow rate equal to 2-2.8 kg per ton of pig iron, the separation of sulfur was 35-42%.
