Drag coefficients of circular tubes in a constant magnetic field

Abstract
We have experimentally investigated in a sodium flow the effect of a transverse magnetic field on the drag coefficient of circular flow channels with a set of cylindrical rings. It has been shown that the increase in drag coefficient with increasing field intensity has a linear behavior only for small values of the Stuart number.
