Structure of the perturbed region with a self-similar explosion in a magnetic field

Abstract
The inevitability of the development of a slow shock wave with a self-similar explosion in a magnetic field is demonstrated. The form of the slow and fast shock waves with different values of the initial data is found qualitatively. The impossibility of the attachment of the cavity to a rapid shock wave is demonstrated, am the rate of expansion of the cavity in the direction of the magnetic field in the limiting case of a weak explosion is found. It is shown that, with a strong eJq)losion in a field as weak as desired, the magnetic pressure at the surface of the cavity is comparable to the gas pressure.
