Experimental investigation of an MHD conduction pump for electrolytes

Abstract
Results are described of an experimental investigation of an MHD conduction pump for electrolytes. It is shown that gas generation associated with electrode processes causes considerable current distribution irregularities and increases the total ohmic resistance of the channel by 40 to 45%.
