Waves on the surface of a viscous ferromagnetic liquid

Abstract
The dispersion relation is presented for waves propagating on the surface of a viscous ferromagnetic liquid with a magnetic-field-dependent magnetic permeability. Assuming an ideal liquid, the dispersion relation is simplified and can be used for the measurement of the surface tension of a ferromagnetic liquid.
