Feasibility of flow-rate measurements by the conduction method without a weir calibration

A. S. Ginsburg - G. Kh. Kirshtein - I. P. Kvasnevskii - V. I. Yakushonok

Abstract
The feasibility is demonstrated 0£ building a coriduction-type flowmeter with a nominal calibration characteristic. Two variants of such a flowmeter are described, and the calibration characteristics of each tracked and corrected in actual operation. These flowmeters have been checked out experimentally in tests with water and a liquid metal.
