Abstract
Test data are shown pertaining to the pressure drop picked off a diaphragm in relation to a transverse external magnetic field. Empirical curves have been plotted of the pressure drop across circular diaphragms, depending on the location of the pressure pickoffs and for various relative orifice section areas. The feasibility is considered of measuring the flow rate with diaphragms in a magnetic field.
