Potential and current distributions in an MHD channel with an external azimuthal magnetic field

Abstract
A numerical calculation is presented of the distribution of the potential and of the components of the current density in an MHD channel in an azimuthal magnetic field. It is shown that the geometry of the anode has a considerable influence on the calculated values.
