Calculation of electromagnetic heating by an inductor located inside a cylindrical cavity

Abstract
The method of separation is used to obtain expressions for the vector potentials in an inductor in a screening metal, under the assumption of the smallness of the shift between the centers of the cavity and the inductor. Expressions are written for the components of the vectors E and B in the case of a large value of the argument, and expressions are obtained for the components of the vectors of the density og the electromagnetic force, the resultant force acting on the inductor, the distribution of the electromagnetic pressure along the boundary of the cavity, and the active and reactive resistances.
