Hydrodynamic and heat transfer of liquid metal thin films in a magnetic field

Abstract
The results of numerical solution of hydrodynamic and heat transfer equations of thin liquid metal film in a strong coplanar magnetic field obtained in the boundary layer approximation are presented. Analytical results for the velocity profile and the depth or the film for fully developed flow have been obtained. Liquid metal film cooling of divert or plates has been analysed. Figs 6, refs 5.
