Abstract
The approximation of the «mean field> in the hydrodynamics of magnetizable media has been analyzed, assuming that the mean field parameter is an arbitrary function of medium density, temperature, mass concentration of components and of magnetization. At a specifically chosen functional dependence of this parameter on magnetitation, pheno- mena of microstructure transformation in a magnetic field, i.e. the formation of homogeneously distributed aggregates, each of which contains a finite number of magnetic particles, has been described. The transfer of the medium into a new structural state has been treated as its collective magnetodiffusive instability; the change of microstructure is a result of phase transition of the second order.
