Electroconvection in liquid hexane

Abstract
Experimental results on electroconvection in hexane in constant and alternating electric fit Ids between coaxial electrodes have been presented. Intensification of heat transfer is more pronounced in an alternating electric field as seen from experiment data in a wide range of parameters. Fig. I, refs 4.
