On the characteristics of a MHD measuring device of velocity pulsations

V. D. Korenev

Abstract
The results of the sensitivity determination of velocity profile MHD measuring devices with a local magnetic field obtained by means of frequency-dependent calibration basing on the use of an etalon thermoanemometer have been presented. It has been found that at averaging of the hydrodynamic flow field pulsations the diameter of the spherical model of the magnetic system of the device has a crucial significance. For the given type of measuring devices, a universal correction function of sensitivity has been obtained. Figs 3, refs 4.
