Thermodynamic models of microstructure transformations in magnetizable media. 2

Abstract
The equations of state of a structured phase have been obtained by using the approximation of the ideal phase transition of the second kind which connect the structured and nonstructured states of isotropic magnetizable medium. The Ehrenfest expressions for the discontinuities of the second derivatives of the thermodynamic potential on the phase equilibrium surface have been determined. We also discussed the thermodynamic stability conditions of structured medium. It has been shown that at increasing magnetic field either the transition of the medium into a new structured state or its stratification into magnetic and nonmagnetic phases could probably occur.
