Nonlinear dynamo with unbounded growth of magnetic field

Abstract
We discuss an example of a nonlinear mean-field dynamo with α-quenching in which the nonlinearity leads to an superexponential growth of the magnetic field in a finite spatial domain where the field was only decaying at the kinematic stage. This ugusual behaviour is associated with an abrupt spatial change of both the kinematic growth and the steady-state field strength. Figs 5, refs 10.
