Estimation of the magnetic field of thermoelectric currents in a fast breeder reactor

Abstract
Estimate of the magnitude and distribution of thermoelectric currents in the system of liquid metal coo1ant of a fast breeder reactor core as well as that of the corresponding magnetic field has been given. We employed a model with the core of ellipsoidal from and constant temperature gradient. For the breeder BH-600, a maximum field of 2 Gs has been found. Figs 4, refs 3.
