Test of the application of magnetizable fluids and suspensions in experimental medicine. 3. Obturation of the tooth canal

P. K. Khizhenkov - V. N. Svirchkov - B. V. Magonov

Abstract
Experimental results are presented from an investigation of a tooth canal obturation technique using a ferro-filled phosphate-cement in an alternating magnetic field. The obturation quality dependence on the magnetic properties of the ferrophase and on its volume concentration was investigated. It is shown that the optimum filling of the phosphate-cement with magnetically hard particles is 50%.
