Some self-adjustment processes in magnetizable media

Abstract
Using the approach of the phenomenological theory of phase transition of the second kind, a formula has been derived for the thermodynamic potential of a magnetizable medium near the microstructure transformation point. The behavior of the medium was simulated by introducing two interacting order parameters: the mean particle number in an aggregate and the mean field parameter. Dynamic equations are proposed which describe the hydrodynamic processes in the metastable paramagnetic state of the medium during the magnetic dipole-dipole interaction between the constituent ferroparticles. In a synergetics approach, the principal solution of these equations describing a switching wave was analyzed and the conditions for the appearance of the dissipative structures in magnetic fluids were determined.
