Torsional viscosimeter in an axial magnetic field: experiment

Abstract
Experiments were carried out with liquid gallium to prove the theory proposed by the authors which describes the MHD effects in the Shvidkovsky oscillating cup viscosimeter. The theoretical predictions conform to the experimental data; this gives reason to doubt the correctness of the other interpretations of these experiments described in the literature.
