Flow and heat exchange in the mixing chamber of a magnetic fluid ejector

Abstract
Flow characteristics and heat exchange processes in the mixing of a magnetic fluid ejector have been analysed. Laminar flow in the boundary layer approximation has been considered. The corresponding system of equations was solved numerically using finite difference method. Results of the calculation, in particular, were used to find the mass force exerted to the magnetic fluid by the magnetic field, and this force was called the magnetic drag. Figs. 6, refs 8.
