Magnetohydrodynamic flow-soldering technology and devices

Abstract
A technology for soldering the winding to the commutator of electric machines by means of a flow of molten solder has been developed. The technology combines the MHD driving principle with additional induction heating of liquid solder just before soldering. Several types of devices were designed to cover a wide range of electric motors, from small car starters to large DC and induction motors.
