The structuring of nonmagnetic microspheres in a flat ferrocolloid layer in a rotated magnetic field

Results are presented of direct observations of the interaction effects between polydisperse polymer microspheres in a related magnetic field. It is shown that the microspheres form vortical, or net-like-type structures. A similarity is noted between the observed effects and the magnetic fluid behavior under analogous conditions.
