Intermediate asymptotics in the disc dynamo problem

Abstract
The asymptotic properties of the nonos dilatory quadrupole eigensolution of a thin, disk kinematic dynamo problem are investigated. An. estimate of the bifurcation, point between nonos dilatory and oscillatory behavior is given. Our asymptotic analysis clarifies why a nonoscillatciry solution is possible only for negative values of the dynamo number and why this solution is a quadrupole one. Refs 12.
