Abstract
Data are presented on the magnetization of magnetic emulsions as represented by colloidal systems of 2-4-mm size magnetic fluid droplets dispersed in water. The magnetization curve inflection and the maximum of the field dependence of the differential susceptibility are explained on the basis of the structural changes in the colloidal system which are confirmed by optical investigations. In order w obtain information on the effect of the interphase surface on the interaction of the dispersed single-domain particles, the investigation included the temperature and concentration dependences of the emulsion s magnetic susceptibility.
