Abstract
We present a 3D code to calculate the completed set of MHD equations. In this code, the Maxwell equations are modeled with a finite element method and the Navier-Slokes equations with a finite volume method. MHD3D has developed within the FLUX-EXPERT e nvironment. This allows a great flexibility in both modeling and geometries. Examples of various MHD problems are presented to illustrate the possibilities offered by this approach.
