Pressure method for the analysis of a time dependent two-dimensional nonuniform plasma flow

Abstract
A simulation study of a current carrying nonuniformities MHD generator, by means of time dependent two-dimensional numerical method, has been carried out. In order to optimise the generator performance, a parametric analysis has been done. The results of the calculation indicate that the enthalpy extraction larger than 30% can be obtained.
