The instability of a magnetic fluid surface in an inclined magnetic field

Abstract
The structure of the ferrofluid surface in an inclined magnetic field has been investigated. It was found that the field inclination causes the deformation of the hexagonal peak structure and the coalescence of the neighboring peaks. It also was shown that the roll instability of fluid surface in the inclined magnetic field is observed. Figs 4, refs 4.
